This piece was a study of the inland beach that stretched two miles out during low tide. It’s the same beach that I painted with the Meanders of the Sea series. During low tide people would go out and dig for clams. During this period all of these reflections of the sky with puddles and inlets from the retiring sea wove in and among the beach mounds. . It was exhibited at the Mystic Maritime Museum gallery. It is a plein air painting and a 12 x 17 oil on Linen canvas.
