Icing Up

Deborah Chapin.
This plein air oil painting shows the wetlands are in their most beautiful.  During fall and transition seasons, they come to life as birds migrate and changes begin to happen so fast.  Transitions from summer to fall and fall to winter. This is the tail end of the fall season depicted as the cold begins to set in and ice begins to form.  This plein air oil painting was painted on location as the sunset and the moon rose.    This piece was exhibited in the Paint America Competition and South Eastern Wildlife Exhibition.    I am making select pieces from my collection available for sale for the first time since their initial exhibits.
