The Sultan Mosque at Muscat Street and North Bridge Road with its unmistakeable gold dome was designated a national monument in 1975. Growing up we lived a 20 minute walk from the mosque. Back then, there were no cafes, no shisha bars, no shops selling gawdy clothes along the way.

These are unprecedented times we live in. Who would have thought we would all be stuck at home for almost 2 years. In 730 Days (all of 2020 & 2021) the only travels I made were around my house and rediscovering my island Singapore (coordinates: 85 miles North of the Equator). 

I have been fortunate for those 730 days were not as bleak for me as it was for millions of others. In fact, I quite enjoyed the quiet. When the noise is taken away, somehow colors seem more colorful, familiar places seem more alive and playful, even the mundane looks like an adventure.
