The National Gallery Singapore has the world’s largest collection of art by Singaporean and Southeast Asian artists. The Gallery itself is a stately work of art occupying two iconic buildings – the former Supreme Court and City Hall. Before 2015, somehow every cohort of graduating law students who passed the bar (mine included) would have their tacky class photo taken on the steps of the Supreme Court. These days it's a popular backdrop for wedding photos.

These are unprecedented times we live in. Who would have thought we would all be stuck at home for almost 2 years. In 730 Days (all of 2020 & 2021) the only travels I made were around my house and rediscovering my island Singapore (coordinates: 85 miles North of the Equator). 

I have been fortunate for those 730 days were not as bleak for me as it was for millions of others. In fact, I quite enjoyed the quiet. When the noise is taken away, somehow colors seem more colorful, familiar places seem more alive and playful, even the mundane looks like an adventure.
