OtherDescription
This is a digital design from a canvas called Father / Daughter, painted by O’Donovan in 2012.
This is the artist’s hand gripping her father's hand. She was interested at the time in the difference between male and females’ hand structure in terms of skin, muscle, tendons and bones. In addition, the work was completed to represent her appreciation for her father's input. In 2008, she suffered a severe brain injury which involved coma, hospitalisation and rehabilitation. She wished to show how grateful she was for his assistance over this time.Try it!
