Sarah Butcher Art

I am always exploring ways to express what I see and feel. I see something and photograph it. And then come back to it for a possible composition. I am inspired by what is right around me. My work and home neighborhoods and my trips to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Sometimes my work is purely abstract where color and shape dominate the canvas, either with real paint or by digital means. I also will mix the two beginning with acrylic paint on canvas, then photographing it and continuing on my iPad.
