My particular inspiration for this artwork was while walking over to my studio one morning. We had been having a lot of rain and windy days and I took a moment to stop and look around. There was bark peeling off the gum trees showing the inside layers in gorgeous rust colours and wet glistening grey and green leaves on the trees and shrubs. The ground was covered in fallen leaves and bark with colours ranging from a pale cream and peach through to darker browns and rust with the wet ones even darker. The sky was a slightly heavy looking blue to grey blue with some light grey clouds across it. It was all lovely earthy colours so I just had to incorporate all of that into a painting.Try it!
