My work is inspired by the landscapes, coastlines, and changing seasons that have shaped my life. Growing up on a farm, I developed a connection to nature and an appreciation for the beauty found in open spaces, shifting light, and the rhythms of the natural world. Working in mixed media and acrylic, I create contemporary landscape and seascape paintings that balance abstraction with atmosphere. Through layers of texture, expressive mark-making, and subtle details, I aim to capture not just a place, as my paintings are nowhere and everywhere, but memories of places seen and experienced. In a world that often feels busy and overwhelming, I want my paintings to offer a sense of calm and space to breathe. Each piece is an invitation to pause and reflect. My hope is that those who live with my work find something personal within it, whether that is a memory, an emotion, or simply a moment of quiet enjoyment.
