My name is Cédric Brion. I am a freelance photographic artist, born in 1978 in the Belgian suburb of Mons, where I currently reside. Having always been interested in the visual arts, I developed a passion for photography at the age of 18. My first tool was a film camera, and I developed my photographs in the darkness of my bedroom. After several years of research and experience. I entered the world of professional photography through various competitions and assignments in the business sector. My fascination with creating portraits in dark, brooding atmospheres stems from my early child-hood. Since then, I have been captivated by fantastical worlds and strive to create portraits that transport viewers into alternate universes. I envision my portraits as windows opening onto imaginary realms. From the darkness of the soul can emerge a clarity that moves me. Light that is too bright often dazzles, while darkness magnifies it. I aim to capture these contrasts in my portraits. Ancient civilizations have always been a source of inspiration for me. I aspire for my portraits to resonate with viewers, allowing them to see and recognize themselves within.
