The history of "Traditional Art" has a rich history that spans centuries. It includes various movements such as Renaissance, Baroque, and Romanticism. Each period brought unique styles and techniques that continue to influence artist today. Many renowned artist have contribute to the world of traditional art. Some notable figures include: Leonardo da Vince, "The Last Supper", Michelangelo sculptures "David and Pieta" , and Rembrandt famous for his portraits and use of lights shadow". I'm none of those famous artists and learning their techniques. Art is more than a hobby for me; it's my lifeblood. I discovered my talent eleven years ago, when I decided to try something new. I had never taken an art class before, but I was curious and eager to learn. Since then, art has opened a whole new world of creativity and expression for me. I find peace when I am creating, using all different mediums. I come from a large and loving family in mid-Missouri, where I was born and raised as the youngest of seven on a farm. I spent most of my career working for a public owned utility company in various roles, retiring as a senior project manager for Kansas City Power and Light. My wife of 50 years, Charlotte, and I have three grown children who have blessed us with five grandchildren. For me, art is not only a personal joy, but also a way to connect with others. Art can start conversations and bring people together. My hope is that my pieces can do that. Artist Bob Gaw
