n November 2024 the sun came out again. I found a grotty looking house in a village 10 miles down the coast, there was only a photo of the outside, over grown garden, paint peeling. We were desperate, the landlord would accept dogs we certainly didn't care about peeling paint. It poured with rain the day we went to visit, the lounge was on the second floor as the house was built into a hill, the downstairs hall was a bit grotty. When the agent opened the lounge door we were shocked, the room was massive, with a huge side window, that overlooks the sea and patio doors that lead onto a reasonable size balcony. We moved in on the 19th of December and have loved every second in our unexpected dream house.Try it!
