Besides being the largest land animals, elephants symbolize happiness, strength, and good fortune. This amazing animal values family and they depend on each other for protection and emotional support. This stands out to me because family is important in my life and who would have thought that elephants shared the same sentiments.
Since I was a child, I have enjoyed watching nature documentaries on National Geographic and I still enjoy learning fun facts about plants and animals. Consequently, I often find inspiration from the fascinating organisms that I see. This piece was done using acrylic paint and depicts an elephant aka ‘The Great Giant.’ It was inspired by a picture taken by National Geographic photographer Shaaz Jung.Try it!
