A very unusual figure with the feeling of a totemic icon which is amplified by its darkness, although this is underpinned by a fabulous cobalt blue. The texture is quite gritty and energising. I wanted to find a way of making an abstracted female figure with a strong presence. The suggested head enables a focus on the form of the body. I love it in it's strangeness!Try it!
