Beneath the surface

Mixed MediaDescription
In this work, the surface becomes a threshold. A horizontal line divides the image into two zones: above, a quiet, almost breathing emptiness; below, a dense concentration of material. The cracked skin, cut through with red and earthy tones, suggests both vulnerability and resilience.
What becomes visible may resemble a wound, but equally a landscape in formation. Beneath the Surface invites slow looking — toward what unfolds just below the visible, where tension and silence meet.Try it!
