Description
This is the seventh painting in a series devoted to the Flatiron Building in New York City. The scene presents a dramatic view of the triangular landmark, its slender façade rising with a city that hums in the foreground. A prominent clock anchors the composition, its gold tones catching the light and casting a warm, reflective glow on the surrounding stone and glass. The surrounding area radiates from the building, giving a sense of motion and urban depth without overcrowding the frame. The color palette is brilliant and unique, blending cool blues and teals with warm ochres, pinks, and magenta highlights. The artwork is unframed with the image painted all the way around the edges. All hardware is attached and the piece is ready to hang on the wall.
