Description
Born in 1982, photographer Mete Altuniğne became interested in photography at the age of 9 with Kodak Ektralite. After 12 years of amateur photography, he started to study at Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Art and Design in 2004. During his university years, he met digital cameras and gained experience by working in photography studios until he graduated in 2009. After graduation, he worked as a photographer in advertising agencies. He is currently teaching photography and continues to take photographs for his own projects. "When taking photographs, I am often struck by the fluidity of time. The relationship of time with space and people. Sometimes it is the growth of a person, sometimes the aging of a stone. Finally, all of them are erased in time. Whenever I take a photograph, I feel one step away from this result and I feel that I have taken away what I have photographed."Try it!
