Yaya Firpo was born in Victoria, Entre Ríos, Argentina.
He studied at the “Dr. Raúl Trucco” School of Fine Arts, obtaining degrees as a Senior Plastic Artist and Senior Professor of Visual Arts. Since 2001, he has lived in Buenos Aires, where he specialized in performing arts. He has worked as an art director and costume designer in various feature films, short films, theatrical productions, and television shows.
Since the beginning of his career in art, he has also devoted part of his time to the design and artistic direction of different carnival parades in Entre Ríos.
He has participated in various contemporary art fairs in Argentina and the United States.
In Buenos Aires, he collaborated on works by Fermín Eguía and Pablo Suárez and served as assistant to the master León Ferrari from 2002 to 2013.
