Yudi Yudoyoko is a talented and multifaceted artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Bandung (Indonesia).
He possesses a creative force that evokes the most poetic and sublime aspects of his expression, conveying deep feelings and thoughts. On his canvases, he masters both painting and illustration, with a personal and unique line that he has developed throughout his career. The themes of his work evoke pain, solitude, brutality, humanity, oppression, revelation, innocence, and irony.
However, he also has a phase of delicate abstraction, as well as illustrations that focus on erotic games, where he challenges boundaries around morality, the forbidden, and identity. He also employs scraping or “un-drawing” techniques to explore and express contemporary issues such as the loss of identities. His palette is rich in subtle and new colors, very different from what we are used to in the Americas.Try it!
