Description
A figure moves between two open cube structures — one suspended above, one collapsing below — surrounded by dense, inky trees. Built from ink washes, white gouache and chalk on paper, the work is nearly monochrome: black, white, warm sand. The cube is not a cage here, but an unfinished portable construction, assembled and disassembled on the road. The title echoes the condition of the searcher: the searching itself is the destination.
