Station 1 from the series Painter on the Road. The first awakening — the moment something resonates beyond routine. A figure emerges from a luminous opening, no longer contained but not yet free. The composition breaks open: where Station 0 was gridlocked, here light forces its way through. Gestural charcoal lines bend and vibrate across washes of ink and paint, suggesting sound made visible.
