Have you heard the term “Forest Bathing”?

In 1982, the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries coined the term, Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing)–promoting the health benefits of spending time in and connecting with nature. It turns out that surrounding ourselves with natural beauty– watching the sunlight dancing through the leaves and listening to the birds sing–relaxes us and relieves stress.

This show is intended to connect you with that feeling through both realism and abstract works that call on you to slow down and appreciate the beauty that surrounds you. Enjoy!
