The brooklynONE Gallery is a natural extension of brooklynONE productions' core mission: to foster bold, original storytelling that uplifts diverse voices and reflects the dynamic spirit of our community. Founded in 2006, brooklynONE has always championed fresh perspectives through theatre, live performance, and immersive experiences. The gallery builds on that foundation, offering a dedicated space where visual artists—emerging and established—can share their work in an environment that values authenticity, experimentation, and connection. Located inside the Tom Kane Theatre at Industry City, the brooklynONE Gallery presents rotating exhibitions that span a range of styles, mediums, and themes. Each show is curated to spark dialogue and deepen the connection between artist and audience, amplifying voices that are often underrepresented in traditional gallery spaces. Our aim is to make art accessible, approachable, and integrated into the cultural fabric of our neighborhood. As part of a multidisciplinary arts organization, the gallery often partners with bkONE’s theatrical and musical programming, creating vibrant crossover events such as art openings with live performances, talkbacks, and collaborative showcases. This synergy allows audiences to experience art in new, layered ways and provides artists with a platform to expand their reach and engage more deeply with the community. The brooklynONE Gallery exists not only to display art, but to cultivate it—supporting artists with opportunities, visibility, and a space to grow. In everything we do, we honor Brooklyn’s creative legacy and help shape its future.
