Lines of Liberation – Lines of Liberation arises from the vital tension between order and chaos, where every drip, line, and streak becomes an act of resistance. Part of the “Re-Inventing Pollock” series, the work reclaims the visual language of Action Painting as a declaration of feminine freedom. Layered gestures transform into pathways of release — a refusal to be confined, a celebration of creative autonomy.
As curator Flavio Scaloni observes, her work channels the spirit of Pollock, Krasner, Frankenthaler, and de Kooning, yet with “un’attitudine gioiosa e positiva nei confronti della vita” — a joyful and luminous evolution of Abstract Expressionism. In Lines of Liberation, structure becomes not constraint but possibility, a stage for renewal. It stands as both a personal and collective gesture of emancipation — where control and surrender merge into the pure act of liberation.Try it!
