Philly Kemarre is an Arrernte artist and visual storyteller whose work is rooted in the land and culture of his people. Born and raised in Garramilla, the land of the Larrakia people, he acknowledges their deep connection to Country and expresses profound respect for their Elders. Philly’s artistic practice is a reflection of his pride for his identity as an Arrernte man.
