Color is my pulse, each hue a heartbeat, each brushstroke a breath drawn from the soul. Watercolor abstraction is more than a medium to me; it’s the lifeblood of my creative being, the oxygen that sustains my artistic rhythm. Though the subjects I explore may shift like seasons, color remains my constant, an expressive language through which I convey emotion, atmosphere, and memory. I’m inspired by simple, fleeting details, shadows, fabric, flowers, and light. Each becomes a spark, guiding me to transform ordinary moments into flowing forms of expression Each painting begins with a whisper of intent, but rarely follows a fixed path. I’ve come to see the process as a dialogue, an unfolding exchange between artist and canvas. When I listen closely, the work reveals its own truth, often more honest than any preconceived vision. I surrender to that rhythm, letting intuition lead the way. Ultimately, my art is a celebration of vitality, of joy, of the quiet beauty woven into ordinary days. It’s an invitation to pause, to feel deeply, and to honour the greatest masterpiece of all: a life lived with intention, emotion, and wonder. Phillip J Gordon
