My inspiration for contemporary art is either about abstract painting practices as a colourist where I study light. Ethereal realms, that which is unsolid in nature, sourced from beyond physical reality for interpretation, which I then translate into an art form.  Bringing what is in the ethers into physical solid matter, whilst I follow Ruldolph Stieners theories of the spirited in art practices & his school of thought on spiritual consciousness as a channel for light. Or the playful aspect of interpretating shadows with theatrical ghost costumes used in performance art or mini theatre sets which I photograph or film.  Where I use the theories of the shadows from Carl Jungs school of thought. This art practice is also spontaneous & adventurous with many possibilities & the images are often enhanced with digiital media. ​As art to me is a spiritual practice where I can observe the external seen physicality of color, textures, materials, shadow & light. Or see beyond into ethereal dimensions to observe the colours within light or the lack of colour in the shadows
