Lutho nezamxhosa Tunyiswa

Meet Lutho Tunyiswa, the Founder of NezaMxhosa. He is a South African-based multidisciplinary artist and Creative Auteur who comes from a small village and town called Xesi (Middle drift) in the Eastern Cape. His work utilises the mediums of filmmaking, Digital illustrations, and Documentary photography. Through these mediums, the Artist illustrates the impact of urban culture on rural spaces and communities, expressing how migration and displacement has affected him as a creative. Through a contemporary reconfiguration of the African cultural experience, his work catalogues a powerful record of African expression through photography and Digital Artworks. Lutho's expression of his work is unique because he mixes different mediums to apply his creativity and expression. The Artist reveals the human spirit/emotion and expression through portrait and documentary photography. These are occasionally translated into digital art which is inspired by AI direction, with advancement of softwares, such as Lightroom, Snapseed and Photoshop, which smoothen the creative process of the Artist.
