This great tit, about to take off, is created from a reference photo by Matthew Brough who kindly gave me permission to create a detailed pastel artwork from it.
I love the attitude of this plucky little bird, and the details of the wings add something special. As usual, I have created this striking artwork using soft pastels, for the background, and sharpened pastel pencils for the details.
