I always enjoy doing hands - the fine detail is a challenge which I think I have pulled off. This artwork recently was awarded Special Merit in the Lightspacetime Figurative exhibition May 2022 - see more about this award here.....
As usual I have used soft pastel for the larger areas of colour and sharpened pastel pencils for the finer details. The paper is Artspectrum Colourfix, which is like a fine sandpaper. You can read more about the materials I use here......
