NANNIE POSES @ THE FAMILY HOME
Artist
Frances Mae Williams Minor JohnsonDescription
Nannie was a "Home Body". I never saw her outside of our family home. We lived in a quiet community, EASTLAND GARDENS, in Washington, DC. near the Maryland state line. Nannie taught me how to stitch, plait her hair, and many wise sayings like, "Courtin' is sweet, but oh how bitter, to court a girl and then not gitter". Obviously, Nannie did not spend her whole life as a home body!
