I am a British artist based in Hamburg, painting predominantly in acrylic media. My work is a celebration of Nature's ability to nourish, invigorate, and restore to us our sense of self. With bold use of colour, expressive brushstrokes and dynamic mark-making, I place the viewer in the landscape and invite you to form your own relationship with the scene before you. I am a self taught Artist and have been ruining most of my clothes with paint since 2021. Living with disability as a self titled "Chronic creative", I invest my energy in that which I cherish dearly, getting out into Nature and processing my experience through Art. I have always felt a profound sense of peace when spending time in Nature. From walking through the cool of a dappled wood, or feeling the breeze on my skin as I face the shoreline; to drinking in the scale of rolling hills, laid out before me like a patchwork blanket on the earth. It is in these moments that I feel most connected to the Natural World around me. Through my paintings, I attempt to capture the emotion and memory of these divine moments, and uncover the fundamental role they play in our relationship with the Authentic Self.
