"The mountains are, for me, the most fascinating landscape to contemplate. These tectonic plates collide and shift, giving rise to jagged textures. Everything is under pressure: the rock, the streams, the intertwined tree roots; and yet, everything seems so peaceful... Each season brings its share of wonders, but winter is by far my favourite! Welcoming a white blanket of snow and frost, every drop of water is frozen, and air bubbles are trapped beneath the frozen lakes. The crackling sounds, the gleaming, immaculate scenery of soft hues, a contrast I will never tire of. In this trio of pictures, I share with you some gems discovered in the Cirque de Gavarnie, a UNESCO World Heritage Site within the Pyrenees National Park. Ice, diamonds, it doesn't matter... these crystals are precious!"Try it!
