"Fuji."
Description
"Ichido wa Fuji ni noboru beshi, nido wa baka". A wise man climbs Mount Fuji once; a fool does it twice. Mount Fuji is a sacred mountain in both Shintoism and Buddhism. In the past, many pilgrims climbed the mountain for religious reasons. Even today, some still ascend for religious reasons, but most are driven by different motivations. Mount Fuji has become a money-making machine. It is now climbed via four main routes for only about two months of the year. During this period, between 200,000 and 300,000 people make the ascent, an average of around 4,000 per day! At the summit is the Fujisan Post Office, where you can purchase special stamps and postcards bearing a summit seal. Many people send postcards from here to prove they have climbed the mountain."Try it!
