Description
Caroline Collett is a photographer and writer, living and working in the South West of England. Her images have been published in UK national newspapers; The Observer, The Sunday Times, The Independent and The Guardian, as well as by photography title F Stop and art magazine Evolver, whose annual Evolver Prize she has been shortlisted for on four occasions. Her work has additionally been Highly Commended in the Marshwood Vale Awards and received a Special Commendation from the All Women Art Exhibition from the Light, Space and Time Gallery. Two of Caroline’s images have been used as book cover designs in the UK and India.
Caroline loves to photograph interesting details, which often border on abstraction. She loves cities, the countryside, the sea and nature in close-up, and is especially drawn to the melancholy feel of places and items left behind once people have departed.Try it!
