The marks on the canvas in Coastal Connections Triptych were intially created using acrylic and dye, reflecting the imprints, the patterns and the movement of the sea across the sand and the beautiful strata (caused by extremeweather) of the sedimentary rocks that have been rounded and
smoothed having been tumbled and polished by the motion of the waves. They were then embellished by using machine and hand embroidery, fabric and beach debris.
