Seeing Through - Retold

Soft layers both cover and reveal one another. The image holds a fragile balance: nothing is fully exposed, nothing fully concealed. The color tones are light, almost powdery, interrupted only by subtle disturbances in the skin. 
 
In Veil of Silence, silence becomes tangible. The work invites closeness — to look without naming, as if meaning emerges precisely in not knowing.

In this work, the surface becomes a threshold. A horizontal line divides the image into two zones: above, a quiet, almost breathing emptiness; below, a dense concentration of material. The cracked skin, cut through with red and earthy tones, suggests both vulnerability and resilience. 
 
What becomes visible may resemble a wound, but equally a landscape in formation. Beneath the Surface invites slow looking — toward what unfolds just below the visible, where tension and silence meet.

The Body Remembered

An upward movement draws the eye through the composition, as if something is lifting itself from the ground. Red and earth tones concentrate at the center and dissolve into a quieter, almost water-like space. 
 
The tension in this work lies not in contrast, but in transition; it captures the moment just before change — when material gathers, while the outcome remains open.

The vertical form in this work evokes an almost human presence. Layers fold around one another like protective skins, with frayed edges and fault lines revealing the process of becoming.

In this work, form appears through resistance. A concentrated, organic structure pushes outward from the surface, as if breaking through a thin skin. The material gathers in sharp folds and ridges, marked by copper and rust tones that contrast with the pale, muted ground. 
 
The left side of the composition remains open and quiet, while the right side carries tension and weight. This imbalance creates a sense of movement — not explosive, but deliberate — as though the form is slowly asserting its presence. 
 
Fractured Emergence explores the moment where containment gives way to release. The surface feels bodily and geological at once: a fragment of landscape, a trace of inner structure. What emerges is not fully defined, but unmistakably present, held in a fragile balance between vulnerability and strength.

Cracks spread across the surface like a network of lines. The horizontal composition evokes associations with landscape, yet refuses full recognition. 
 
Fractured Horizon depicts a boundary that is never fixed. It is a work about shifting perspectives — about looking beyond what first appears familiar.

Horizontal layers suggest a distant shoreline or a horizon seen through haze, while vertical drips pull the surface downward, dissolving form into movement. Turquoise, muted greens and earthy tones intermingle, creating a sense of slow erosion rather than abrupt change. 
 
The upper section feels calm and atmospheric, almost weightless. Below, the surface becomes more tactile and restless, marked by lines, scratches and flowing pigment. These downward traces read like gravity at work — a gradual yielding of structure.

Seeing Through – Retold is not a repetition of an earlier exhibition, but a rereading. What once lived on the physical walls of the gallery returns here in a new constellation: more compact, quieter, and with greater space for perception. The virtual environment does not function as a replacement for the physical gallery, but as an alternative way of looking — slowed down, layered, and free from fixed perspectives.

In this exhibition, the surface takes center stage. Not as an endpoint, but as an entry point. The works move between skin and landscape, between proximity and distance. Structures that evoke skin, fibers, or scar tissue may gradually shift into layers of earth, horizons, or silent landscapes. What becomes visible is not a fixed image, but a field of tension: between revealing and concealing, between stillness and presence.
