This is a print of an original painting. The context being of an area close by my home. The river running down to Fremington Quay, is an area where I photograph and sketch. The print is mounted on to foam core board.

Oil on canvas nude study. This piece is part of a series of paintings that use the same blue background. I have deliberately excluded the head to depersonalise the body. In this way I think the forms and flesh can be enjoyed in their own right, becoming almost like a landscape.
