Blue Porcelain is a ceramic wall piece consisting of 9 porcelain tessellae or small tiles, each one about 3 cms square, individually decorated with glazes and molten glass, in this case predominantly blue. The whole piece is set in a box frame, 25 x 25 cms. It is designed to be displayed alone or in a grouping of several pieces. It is inspired by the small fragments of blue pottery often found in the soil and sand of North Devon.Try it!
