Humor plays a part in this colorful Pop Art style landscape inspired by my travels on Interstate 75 through the Everglades in Southern Florida. Painted with heavy body acrylic on stretched canvas, bold vibrant saturated color is used to capture this funny rural image of an alligator attempting to climb over a fence. This can be seen from time to time along the highway in the Everglades.
