Pictured is the Sun breaking over top mountains surrounding the Great Sand Dune National Park. The light strikes the crests of Dunes, creating lines and shadows that mimic and contrast the lines of the mountains. The very same mountains that gave life to the Dunes themselves by funneling and calming dust and sand filled winds attempting to travel through their narrow pass to the North East. Neatly combed sand glistens in the morning rays.
