I love winter...mostly because of the way the shadows cast on the snow and how the surrounding trees and light really shines through the warm and cool blue tones.
I also love the peace and silence winter brings as everything quiets down for a well deserved rest. It is such a peaceful time for my mind and allows more time to spend painting.
