This piece was done en plein air and my mother sat for the piece called Waiting for the Tide. It was painted in Arcadia National Park and was part of the Arts for the Park National Museum Tours exhibition. Painted in Acadia National Park. These works, as well as the remaining Top 100 were on view in the Arts for the Parks and were seen on tour in the following cities: St. Louis, Missouri (Jefferson National Expansion Memorial,; Farmington, New Mexico (San Juan College Art Gallery; Bolivar, Missouri (Ella Carothers Dunnegan Gallery of Art; Grand Canyon, Arizona (Kolb Studio); Estes Park, Colorado (Cultural Arts Council of Estes Park, and at Sioux City, Iowa (Sioux City Art Center).
