In 2020, I revisited using International Marine Signal Flags (the International Code of Signals or ICS), as counterpoints to the visual dynamics, and as an entrance portal to the work. Each flag represents a letter in the alphabet, and also has a standard meaning that expands the abstracted  narrative.
