A Royal Ride Through Stuttgart
Description
During her visit to Stuttgart, Queen Elizabeth II was driven through the city alongside Minister President Kiesinger in a Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet — one of the most prestigious state cars of its time. It was a very long and luxurious limousine with a roof that could be opened over the rear seats.
The vehicle allowed the Queen to be clearly visible to the public while maintaining ceremonial elegance and security.
The Landaulet design was ideal for waving to crowds and was often used for monarchs, popes, and presidents.
