I took the reference photo for 'Love to be fishing' on the Altona Jetty, Melbourne. The jetty was built in the 1800s and unfortunately needs to be replaced because of its deterioration and public safety concerns. I think the weathered structure is a piece of art and contrasts well with the green waters below. I often think I would love to be fishing when walking on a jetty and wonder if there are many fish under the surface and if they are biting. It is mesmerising and calming to look at the water, watching shapes, ripples and patterns created .Try it!
