Urban Walking was something I picked up during the pandemic and something that enjoy doing today. Woods in the Books is an independent bookshop for picture books, founded in 2009 and nestled in the quaint neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru. I've come to that age where I only enjoy picture books because there's less to read.

These are unprecedented times we live in. Who would have thought we would all be stuck at home for almost 2 years. In 730 Days (all of 2020 & 2021) the only travels I made were around my house and rediscovering my island Singapore (coordinates: 85 miles North of the Equator). 

I have been fortunate for those 730 days were not as bleak for me as it was for millions of others. In fact, I quite enjoyed the quiet. When the noise is taken away, somehow colors seem more colorful, familiar places seem more alive and playful, even the mundane looks like an adventure.
