Description
Ula is inspired by Ukrainian traditional costume, as it is a reflection of the character of the nation. In her words "I believe it should take its place in the modern world and communicate Ukrainian ideas. I used the colors of Ukrainian National Flag, and incompleteness technique to make the illustration lighter, and leave the space for a viewer's imagination. As a background motif I chose a traditional ornament with doves. 50% of proceeds will be going to the organizations helping disabled Ukrainians.
