Above the Gods

Description
Something that does not stop fascinating me of Australia is how cities are designed for their inhabitants to enjoy them. This is reflected both in the number of green spaces and coastal areas. I was in one of these urban coastal areas when a pelican passed overhead. It is a common bird in Australia, but not for that matter any less colossal, since its wingspan can reach 2.6 meters and it can weigh up to 13 kg, thus becoming one of the heaviest creatures able to fly. The image shows one of these giant birds floating lightly above the beautiful facade of a noble building. This work’s title interprets what the pelican might feel when flying over the winged sculptures.
