DescriptionStory of "Livingroom No. 2" started before the pandemic and it continued during the lockdown. This image is a result of a collaboration between my wife and I. She is not only the model in this image, but – because she is a photographer –her black and white simplified geometric photographs which she made earlier about the architecture of Budapest inspired me. Even though I give an intimate look into our bedroom, this image is more about the relation between the figure and her near and broader environment, the rhythm of dark and light shapes, moving the work towards something more abstract than figurative. I used computer generated photo collage as a reference and the art photographs of the models as an inspiration.
