I was down by the Port Orchard waterfront with my kids one evening, and I witnessed this beautiful sunset. I wanted to try and capture the intensity of the scene. Also, the pirate ships had visited us recently, and I wanted to capture this fun aspect of Port Orchard culture.
Canvas made with archival-quality natural cotton, this heavy duty canvas is gesso primed. The frame is professionally constructed, with medium-weight cotton duck stretched around 1 1/2" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline. Edges are painted black.
